ACP is an aluminium composite panel: light, rigid and widely used for facades and signage. HPL is a high-pressure laminate, often chosen for its wood and stone finishes. The right one depends on the look, the location and the budget.
Which ACP thickness do I need?
Typically 3mm suits signage and interiors, 4mm suits most building facades, and thicker panels are used on taller buildings or windy sites. We recommend a thickness after seeing the site.
Is ACP cladding safe from fire?
ACP comes with standard and fire-retardant cores. For public, commercial and taller buildings a fire-retardant core is the safer choice; ask us about the options for your project.
How much maintenance does ACP need?
Very little. Occasional cleaning keeps the finish looking fresh; how long it lasts depends mainly on the quality of the coating.
Is ACP good for the exterior of a building?
Yes. Exterior-grade ACP is widely used on facades and shopfronts because it is light, weather resistant and easy to keep clean. The panel grade and fixing matter, so we specify both for each site.
